Screenprinting is a method where ink is pressed through a fine mesh screen, leaving a colour imprint on the material’s surface. Ideal for logo’s with limited colours and patterns.
Screenprinting works well on T-shirts, Jackets, Bags etc. – basically anything that has a flat surface that can withstand some heat as some processes require heat to ‘set’ the ink. Can be used on clothing however some screen-printing cannot be directly ironed over once applied – garment must be ironed on the reverse side of the garment.
The cost is based on the number of colours required and the format in which the artwork is available. Each colour in the logo requires a separate 'screen' and there is a screen set-up charge for each colour.
Artwork Requirements for Printing For printing, 'vector art' provides the highest resolution, separation and cleanest lines. Electronic files such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Corel Draw are the most widely used. Either an .eps or .PDF format are the most suitable. We can in some instances use very high resolution JPG electronic images. Always provide PMS colours as well as any style guides that are available. |

Embroidery gives your item an added perception of quality. The range of colours available is vast and is sure to give your logo/artwork a touch of class.
Embroidery is the most favoured option for most clothing, headwear, bags, towels etc. Unlike screen-printing the cost of embroidery is determined by number of stitches, not number of colours.
Your artwork is translated into stitches called 'digitizing'. There is a digitizing fee which is dependent on size and detail of logo as well as quantity of garments requiring embroidery.
Artwork Requirements for Embroidery
For embroidery we prefer JPG, GIF or TIFF electronic images or if that is unavailable a hard copy such as letterheads, business cards etc is fine. We offer full quotes however we must see a copy of your artwork to see the full detail to give you an exact quote. It is always useful to supply PMS or Pantone colours especially if this is imperative to your company's logo. Embroidery thread colours do not match exact PMS colours, however PMS is the best guide to get the closest thread colour option available for your logo.

Embroidery Options for your logo -
You can embroider for your full colour logo, your logo in a single colour, just the words of your business name or even just your logo icon. You can also embroider with full fill or just the outline or your logo. (all examples shown above)

Until fairly recently sublimation has only been available on garments that are made to order. However with technology it is now possible to use the sublimation process on some 'off the rack' or ready made garments.
This process is particularly suitable for sports mesh garments and other polyester based fabrics. Those with a white or very light coloured background are the more successful.
The advantage of sublimation in these instances is that once the sublimation process has been completed the logo or design has become a part of the fabric and is not detectable to the 'touch'. This process also allows works together with the cool dry properties of the new breathable polyester fabrics - looks like the garment was made with the design/logo. This is arguably the only decoration process that is able to reproduce your logo, especially if there are colour gradients and great detail involved. The other main advantage of sublimation is no set-up fees if the artwork is provided in the correct format.

All fonts must be converted to outlines (or curves) to avoid font substitutions.
Include font and size if typesetting is requested.
If you want text added to your logo or image and you require typesetting done, please advise us of your preferred font type so we can do our best to match your font. A general guideline for font stlye is required if no specific font is given.
Artwork for multi-colour imprints should be sent as a colour separated file with PMS colours specified.
(exceptions 4 colour process printing)
PMS colours (or spot colours) are a universal standard of colours used for printing. Although we cannot match exactly, these will give us a good indication of your colour preference. For more information regarding PMS or Pantone colours, please visit www.pantone.com
Send through brand standards and logo usage guides if your business has them.
It is important that you send these through if your business has guidelines. It makes our job much easier and removes miscommunication mistakes.
When embroidering, ensure any fonts are no smaller than 7mm.
We may need to adjust your logo to make sure all text can be read.
